Welcome!

Here you'll find stories that are near and dear to me, the culmination of a lot of years, lots of tea, and many rewrites. Take your time and explore the library. Hopefully, you'll find a book that intrigues you and take the chance to crack it open.

Meet the Author

When I was younger, I thought I had my author name figured out. High school me thought it was super cool and that the series I was writing would be a best seller. Neither of those things worked out, and here I am now with a cool, sophisticated name. My real name is Katie, and I currently live in Powder Springs, Georgia. I have been writing since I was young and have been an avid reader since kindergarten. The afore-mentioned book series was one I started in middle school, and I had completed six lengthy books by high school that I was proud of until I really started diving into the craft of writing and realized that it wasn't a great story. While they just take up space on my computer, never to be opened, I'm grateful for them because that was really where I got into writing stories. Fantasy, sci-fi, and action genres are my favorite, but I pretty much read anything with a good plot and characters I can care about. I'm a huge nerd so anything Star Wars or Lord of The Rings related, I'm there. Much of that has shaped how I write stories and characters, although some days I do spend more time imagining worlds than I do writing them. When I'm not writing, I'm usually drawing nerdy things to make into stickers for my Etsy shop (redheadcreates). I have too many art and craft projects that I've started but never finished (yet), along with too many hobbies and not enough time for them all. I work a couple of different jobs currently because I like to expand my skills in different ways. My main job is at an equine vet's office as the office manager, and in my free time, I'm a freelance editor because I enjoy helping others with their own stories. My writing buddies are my cats and my plants. I have too many story ideas and not enough time to write them all down.  I'm also a Spfbo 9, Indie Ink Award, Next Generation Indie Book Awards, & Page Turner Awards Finalist.
